ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring Business Development Representatives to help policyholders throughout NY, NJ, and CT navigate the fire damage claim process.
This is an outbound sales role where you’ll connect with homeowners, business owners, property managers, condo/co-op boards and associations to understand their claim needs and present adjustment services that can help them succeed in the claims process.
This is a salary plus commission-based opportunity with uncapped earning potential.
Our top performers earn $312,000+ annually.
A background in insurance, property claims, or disaster restoration is strongly preferred. We provide complete training, mentorship from our highest earners, and ongoing support.
We’re looking for drive, coachability, and work ethic.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Daily Activities:
- Make 100+ outbound call attempts per day to homeowners, businesses, and property managers business owners
- Meet homeowners, businesses, property managers on-site to understand their needs, and present adjustment services that can help them succeed in the claims process
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand each policyholders claim needs
- Work with our sales team, claims team, and management to move claims toward closing
- Build relationships with clients that turn into repeat business and referrals
Your Growth Path:
- Months 1-6: Learn our services, practice the sales process, close your first deals with mentor support
- Months 6-12: Start closing deals independently while building your client base
- Year 2+: Develop a book of recurring clients and referral partners that creates predictable income
- Top Performers: Opportunity to mentor others and build your own team
WHAT YOU’LL EARN
Base + Commission Compensation – First 6 months: $20K-$47K, as you learn and ramp up
- Year 1: $108K-$125K while gaining experience and building your pipeline
- Years 2-3: $186K-$240K with experience and referrals from an established book of business
- Top Performers: $312K+ annually
You’ll also receive periodic raises based on your performance and production milestones.

Strongly preferred but not required:
- Previous experience in property claims, insurance sales, or disaster restoration

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Reality: Your income is directly tied to your performance. The first 3-6 months will be challenging as you learn the business and build momentum.
Most people who succeed treat this like building their own business; but with our training, tools, and support behind them.
Daily Requirements:
- Minimum 100+ outbound call attempts per day
- Consistent prospecting activity regardless of your current pipeline
- Regular participation in training and coaching sessions
- CRM updates and pipeline management
Must be in the office, with some fieldwork required. No remote available. Looking for an immediate hire.
Licensing Requirements
A Public Adjuster license is required for all adjuster positions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

From a technical standpoint, the ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in property claims, including a deep and fluid understanding of the claims process; direct experience handling structural, personal property, and time-element coverages for homeowner and commercial losses; and the construction and estimating expertise to handle large and complex claims of $1M or more in pre-war, post war, and high-end construction.
The ideal candidate must not only have the claims acumen to develop successful claim strategies for large and complex claims, but also the administrative and marketing smarts, energy, stamina to execute claim strategies with speed and precision and persistence to build and maintain relentless momentum for policyholders in the claims process.

Responsibilities:

Aiding, advising, and consulting the Company and its colleagues in the management, preparation, presentation, adjustment, and negotiation of property damage claims for the Company including, but not limited to developing adjustment strategies, reviewing claim documents, collaborating with Company’s teams, maintaining up-to-date claim records, developing claim processes, and other activities pertinent to successful claims handling, as is expected of Public Adjusters working on behalf of a client.
